accidentally was in manual mode and this is way overexposed. Just curious what it would look like after editing? Thanks!

As you already now, this is way over exposed. There is no saving it, sorry.
No saving a photo with such a huge degree of overexposure. Leaves nothing to work with. Sorry. It would have been a wonderful shot with proper exposure.

If you shot it in RAW, it may have a slim chance.

as stated by the others, when the "information " just isn't there,...it's hard to get it back. SO.......you have to use what IS there.....if you want to use it at all. Maybe an artistic touch is the only option.

Phoneguy555 - editing others images is a "NO-NO" on this forum, the new rule just was announced last week.
Well, I had fun with it, anyway! LOL! Since I don't have an advanced photoshop type program, this is all I could get out of it! :O)
She's adorable, btw!!!!!
Woops! Forgot the edit! LOL!
Not sure where the squares came from around her nose and eyes! LOLOL!
I REALLY like Phoneguy55's edit! :O)
"Please do not edit and re-upload other people's pictures without their explicit permission. In other words, you may not open someone's topic, download an image, edit it (that includes adjusting settings, cropping, adding/removing visual elements, etc.), re-post it, and say "here is a version of your photo that I like better" unless they specifically ask for it."
I ask for edits and appreciate what they did! I don't have editing software. New to forum and beginning photographer=no software yet! Thank You Phoneguy55 and WeeBGB!

Slim? LOL, how about Snowball's chance in.....". You just can't recover what isn't there. It happens to all of us one time or another.

This is the best I can do for you!
We are working from a thumb nail sized picture, so it'll pixelize very quickly on me.

I really like the save you did on this photo. Gives it an interesting look
I hope this group does not get so paranoid they cannot even help someone else out . after all, the photographer did ask for help. There was no way anyone could tell the author how it would turn out ( what little could)without giving it a try and sending it back. Yay for those who gave it a try!!!
