This fishing trip with guide Letty Potter was part of my husband and my anniversary trip to the Olympic Peninsula. We put in before the sun was up. By the end of the day I a non-fisher could hardly hold on to the pole. But the weather and scenery was gorgeous and when I wasn't trying to fish I was taking pictures.
Nice catch (no pun intended)

Thank you. I caught one tiny cut throat that had to be released. I was happier taking pictures any way.

very nice- looking at them made me wish i was out there fishing too.
How did you enjoy your Coho? I don't find them as strong tasting as the king salmon is.
We used to have ours smoked but after a while one gets tired of that too.
Just to much of a good thing!
:)

Thank you. Salmon is a special treat for us. We did enjoy the Coho, but the jacks were better. When we raised beef I felt the same way about steak. I still would rather have fish or chicken.

I agree with you, Fish first and then Chicken. Halibut is my favorite, but heck who can afford it!

I can't afford to buy fish. usually my husband and son-in-law keep us stocked. These fish cost us about $40 apiece  But the experience was worth it, though my husband is already thinking about another trip.

Very nice pictures and pacific salmon! Wow I like the taste of it better than Atlantic salmon. I'm glad you had a great day
