This group is for Christian photographers to share fellowship, photos that glorify God. Anything from church photos, baptisms, photos of the cross, anything including landscapes that inspire you to think of God. Those who are photographers for their church are especially welcome. Non believers can post photos of churches, religious statues etc. However NO SNARKY COMMENTS. this is not the place to debate the existence of God. Testimonies of what God has done for you or brought you from are always welcome.

A little about my self. I spent my first forty years of my life as an outspoken atheist. my folks were ethnically Jewish, but atheist in their beliefs. God finally got threw to me when I was a cop. I moved to vero beach, got invited to a revival at the 1st United Pentecostal Church of Vero Beach. I walked in the church and wham the prescience of the Lord was overwhelming, the reality of how bad a sinner I truly was overwhelmed me, I was bawling like a baby, my body wrenching with sobs. I became a born again Christian at that point. about two months later I was baptized by immersion into the lovely name of Jesus for remission of sin It took Me a long time after that to receive the Holy Ghost as evidenced by speaking in tongues. I serve the Lord and my church as head door greeter and as my church's photographer. God bless all that join this group. I would like to thank the admin of the hog for allowing this group.

You are very welcome. It is amazing that in less then one hour after I started the forum, and with one post announcing it the unbeilvers just had to post obnoxious comments and stir up a fuss. That tells me ol satan wants to stop this forum before it gets effective.

Just found your new section and this is very exciting and I hope you don't mind if I post the majority of my stuff here. I think all photography should glorify God I haven't been posting much as I hate the unGodly remarks and "surprising" photos I run across that I'd rather not view
God will honor this new section and as soon as I prepare a testimony I will post it with a current picture of what God is doing in my part of the woods.Thank You for creating this new section and I look forward to visiting this section in the coming times, yours in Christ Bill Taft.

Not pictures we enjoy seeing, but for many Christians around the world these scenes are becoming commonplace.

Could it happen in America? Of course. Satan has many followers who would celebrate scenes like this in any country where the Gospel is preached.

We must be ever vigilant.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Thank you and greetings as well. There are many people in various enclaves under the Christian banner who are constantly complaining about America's involvement in attempting to disuade by force the onslaught of Islam in America. My belief is that after reading of the "sleeper" terrorists planted in our midst we are going to have a major problem when the "sleepers" are awakened sometime in the future. I hear Muslims are really nice people who are misunderstood. Use your own judgement. This gruesome photograph is the result of Islamist's who raided a catholic church and performed Islams punishment on Christians celebrating their faith in Jesus. Before you bleat about the money we spend on deterring these animals, look carefully at the picture. This could be your congregation next Sunday.

The explosion, on July 3, a tanker truck in the village of Sange, in South Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), was 235 dead. Please do NOT spread lies, a little research goes a long way.

Here is the link to the story, sorry it's in french but you can use google translate, it does a pretty good job.

Annie_Girl is correct. This photo is not a terrorist attack on Christians. Don't feel bad though it has been on the internet for a while and listed as a terrorist attack from some news sources and even more abundantly on social media sites indicating that it was an attack..

Don't feel slighted though there have been plenty of Muslim terrorist attacks causing injury and death to Christian individuals, families and churches since 9/11. The amount would probably surprise you by the large numbers.

I would hope atheists, agnostics, those with other religious preferences, will post here too.

"Faith: pretending to know things you don't know."

Source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qp4WUFXvCFQ

Secondly, potentially highly devisive. As now people might assess a person's intent in a photograph based on his/her stated religious belief.

Thirdly: the posting of burned Christians with the "it could happen here" implication, is atrocious. Especially in light of the fact that Christianity has slaughtered millions in its name. Early European explorers just one easily documented examples.

I protest the establishment of this forum.

I'll paraphrase either Carnap or Wittgenstein who said "what man does not know must be handed to science."

I am heartened by the fact that Portland University has recently established a class on atheism in its philosophy department.

Are these "snarky comments"?

And how many millions have been slaughtered in the name of Christianity?

What an inflammatory post.
