Thanks Colo43, Oh yea some of the colors on these fish are amazing, I use metal halide lighting and it makes the difference, thanks for checking them out. howie

I've had tropical's but never salt water. I bet your tanks are beautiful.
Thank you for the info on the lighting - will have to look into that.

Thank you for showing your set up. These are very beautiful. Except for #2 - it's too creepy to be beautiful - would make a great Halloween centerpiece!

Hi Tainkc, The lamps are 50 watt each and the temp is 5100 kelvin perfect for this kind of photography sometimes I add an actinic lamp which is a bluer light for color, my aquarium lighting is 500 watt metal halide at 10,000 kelvin wiich simulates sunlight and I add actinics for color, I need that for 250 gallons, if I want a deep water look I go for the 20,000 kelvin for a bluer light.
