You appear to have missed "docrob" admitting that he made those claims up (Page 1, post 4) to show how easy it is to mislead intentionally. And some bit without attempting to research how valid the information was. See? Do go back and look for it.

And good old, LOL, predictable "Blurryeyed" (post 5) then made an absurd claim that "all dems" make their facts up.

Al Gore? I like you. You silly.

From what I've read, the folks that really got screwed were the GM stock holders and bond holders. It was the unions that really came out smelling like a rose and they were the primary reason for Obama's bailout. ........ Coot

The financial structure of the GM bailout should not have been a gift of 10's of billions of taxpayer dollars, the tax credit flow through which is against the federal bankruptcy law as well as the stock purchase was nothing less than a gift of taxpayer dollars to the tune of $45 billion, I am not arguing that GM should have gone under, but the taxpayers of this country got screwed as well as did the non union employees of GM... It is the structure of the deal that goes against most anybody's sense of fairness and above the board dealings.[/quote]

That part is very much true, the unions stood inline behind the secured creditors, again that is the law, but the president and his henchmen changed the rules... look at what he did to the non union employees, he did not protect them at all, he just brushed them aside and they lost everything.

Manu other polieies the president put in place to move this country forward to where we are today. We still have a long way to go but we are moving in the right direction and we need to keep the engineer at the controls.

Obama stole from the taxpayers in the bailout and the structure of the bailout, GM will never be asked to repay some $40 plus billion that Obama gave it.... He could have done something real while at the same time being fair to the taxpayer, instead he tarnished what maybe in the end his only lasting achievement.

Well, lets see, why did we purchase stock? Why was not all the money put in to GM a loan so that they would actually have to pay it back? It was done so that the company would not be burdened by the debt that it really owes the taxpayer. Then there is this Hunter Lou, they created special rules that are not available to any other corporation going through a bankruptcy... So if your neighbor down the street goes through a bankruptcy which restructures his business he does not get it, but GM did... a $45 billion carry forward of tax credits meaning that they will not have to pay taxes on profits that are due the American Taxpayer.... it is all a scam Hunter Lou... and you defend it.. Right once again, Blurryeyed. We should have put you up for election to the highest office. From the point of intelligence combined with common sense, you would win, hands down.

Hunter Lou, "shoving money offshore" doesn't avoid taxation unless you fail to report it. Since it seems to be common knowledge Romney did I would have to assume he reported it and paid what ever the tax laws required on the interest he received. If he had failed to report it you wouldn't even have known about it, would you?

You have every right to denigrate the wealthy if you want to, but I doubt you will be able to gain much traction unless you can produce some convincing facts to back up your rant. ......... Coot

HUNTER LOU ...................
If you have some actual knowledge about wrondoings on Romney's taxes, you have a duty to report it to the IRS. Also they will pay you 15% of anything they recover.
If you are just making it up, forget it.

That's all well and good, Hunter Lou, but the engineer at these controls is an absolute fool, and can't see the bridge is out ahead. He is going to run our train right into the river of debt. . . .
