Bain also Invested in SDI that make stell products in Columbia City indana and has a new plant in New Haven Indiana that makes copper products.

Obama would have taxed the h*ll out of the rich and there would have been no new companies; but plenty of government tax collecotors. He would have built lots of roads and infrastructure leading to places with no new companies.

Been to Michigan many times to ski and sightsee and no one ever said anything as nasty as what you did.
I have noticed something recently; the Obama people seem to be very mean and nasty when they come accross someone that do not agree with them. Remainds me of some bullies that I have come across; they always learned to leave me alone.

If you ever come to my house I will just offer you one of the five beers on tap or one of the many wines that we have made. In the past I have handed many people a well made beer and the just seem to mellow out.

All I was saying was Bain has created more jobs using thier money than Obama has using his money. Obama want to take from the rich, give to the poor. he has no method of creating wealth.

Maybe it would have been better for Bain Capital to come in, take them over and liquidate the pensions and assets while offering their creditors pennies on the dollar and giving their own CEOs huge bonuses. Seems to be their business model.

You refuse to address the fairness or the structure of the deal, so you attack Romney with the same campaign rhetoric that is failing.... Puddles has been shown to be the feckless president that he is and rather than speak to the issue you go on the Bain attack as if that means something, I like Bain Capital, I like the fact that Gov Romney had a successful career and that he understands finance, business and the economy.... Obama's biggest field of study before taking office was CRT, something that has not moved the country forward, but rather backwards.. people are hurting and this president has fixed nothing but has only served to make things harder on the American people... Puddles is done, he will again show is butt in the next debate as he has nothing to contribute to a conversation with someone who understands the issues and will not be intimidated by the president trying to force his personality and office on them.....

Let's see this week the president's campaign is that Romney lied, even though the author of the study that Obama says that Romney is lying about has come out and said that if anyone is lying about his conclusions it would have to be the president...

Last week it the big Obama campaign issue was that Romney killed some man's wife, a story that not only was discredited but that his campaign manager Stephanie Cutter was exposed as actually lying about as she knew the complete story all along...

The week before that it was that Romney had paid no taxes, again nothing more than a lie...

The week before that it was that Romney is a felon.....

The week before that it was about the dog that he did not eat, but put in a carrier on top of his car....

Before that it was that he was a HS bully....

Does this not tell you anything?????? Friggin puddles has no clothes, he is a deer in Romney's headlights...

Just wait for the debate on Foreign Policy, puddles will have his lunch handed to him....

Here ya go.... the author of the report that the president refers to in the debate directly calls the president out on the conclusions he used in the debate...

You are spot on.!!! I like another Hog, am sure getting tired of this senceless Romny bashing, just wish these little people would do a little reaserch on Romney, he's quite a guy actually. As to weather he will make a good president I don't know, but surley better than what we have now.!!!

Here we are again this AM trying to compair Taxes vs Private $ and a kookade drinker can't keep it straight. I would say they are trying to change the subject but we know they wouldn't do that. They always stay on track and speak the truth. Said with toung held tightly in teeth. It is impossible for them to argue with the truth such as Blurryeyed's link to Obama's lie so they are destined to change the subject or just tell another lie trying to get the subject off track.

Just think that after all that effort you spent finding the status of Romney's investments, the taxpayers of this country did not lose a dime on them, in fact during their strong years they contributed to the coffers of our treasury, Obama's investments on the other hand cost the taxpayers billions and the only coffers that they contributed to were to those of his campaign...

As usual, Blurryeyed, you are absolutely, one hundred percent, correct. With people like you among us, I have little fear for this country. You are an island of sanity in a sea of madness. Hang in there, buddy. . . .

:XD: Come on, there were strings and expectations attached.
GM received $49.5 billion, not 40, of which they have repaid $23.1 billion, with the U.S. Treasury holding the remainder as 500 million shares of GM stock. The stock will no doubt be sold at an advantageous time and price. An article in Forbes, dated 8/29/12, can help you here.

Major companies do not close up, under bankruptsy. They are simply relieved of being sued. General Motors is very alive in China, with eleven factories going full steam ahead.
BO saved the unions. That is all that happened. That would not have happened with an intelligent businessman in the white house. BO was snowed by GM.

The fact of the matter is is that instead of loaning GM the money the bulk of the money transfer went to GM in the form of a stock purchase and only a small portion in the form of loans, GM quickly turned around and used the proceeds from that stock purchase to pay off the loans and touted to the American people that they had repaid our treasury, fancy that especially since the American people will lose anywhere between $15 and $20 billion on the stock sale when it occurs....

Add to that that in bankruptcy laws as your debts are discharged so are any all all tax credits and deduction schedules that may exist... What is interesting about a tax credit is that it is not an adjustment to your income, but rather an adjustment to your actual tax bill or refund status... Now with GM the federal government against federal bankruptcy law allowed some $30 billion in tax credits to flow through to GM, what we are talking about here is a $30 billion dollar gift of taxpayer money... So lets talk about the fairness of that and why personally I will never buy another GM car again, besides, Ford is making better product.

I have not said that it would be good for the country for GM to have gone out of business, but it is not good for the country for the president and his crew to cheat the taxpayers either.....
