Hello everybody ..... When I started this challenge I didnt know how many days it would last. Quite frankly I'm surprised it lasted this long. I'm here to tell you this is the last day I will be posting anything .. I am leaving the forum. I know you are all disappointed .. but I have to do what's right for me and there is so much going on in my life at the moment I just don't have the time or energy to continue. I have grown to care very much for each and every one of you. You are an awesome bunch of photographers and even better bunch of people. I hope y'all find a way to continue this thread to the completion.
Don't worry about me I am really fine. I just had to prioritize things. So please take good care of yourselves. I'll be thinking about ya. .... Sherrie

OK I just checked the schedule and it is camera settings...so when you post today maybe you can give us the settings you used.
Meanwhile....tomorrow is Monthly Review so basically anything goes as far as I am concerned.

I did get a few suggestions and can prob make a sched for the month.....at the moment this is what i am thinking.

Janice had some suggestions that were much like my own thoughts and that is dependent on this: anyone want to volunteer to host a day of the challenge....

Your idea for what you might like to learn....then you host for that day making the comments.....Janice or I can put together the list ...OPEN TO ANY OTHER IDEAS...but not to complicated. please

took this the other day at the wildflower preserve and the flutterbys were all over..... pretty sure the flower is Joe Pie Weed..funny name eh? Butterfly Monarch

I agree - let's not complicate things - I will host for a few days, maybe a week, if you want me to, so I guess I am volunteering. I don't have photography all figured out for myself so I really can't teach it to someone else but I can open a daily challenge. I don't think the host need feel like they have to comment on every person's post either. I think the role of the host in this case, is to open the challenge for the day and present what the challenge is more so than to say "great photos". Those of us who participate every day know we do this as much to share and keep in touch as to learn. I don't think someone needs feel pressured to comment on every photo just because they are helping host the challenge. It can be time consuming and get overwhelming and this should be fun as much as educational.
Just my thoughts at the moment, still surprised and wondering if I really am still awake or maybe I fell asleep and I am dreaming.

Great creation in the globe. It turned into a really nice effect.

Can I butt in a second? I think we get through today and see how many volunteers we get to help and then we deal with a list as far as who does it when. And I agree Nan, if you host, you choose the challenge even if it is free day. What does everyone else think. Nan, can't do it all, nor should she have to, this is something we all enjoy and we want to be sure everyone continues to enjoy it and not feel tied to it for everyone else's sake. Again, just my thoughts, sorry to butt in.
