A favorite color for many folks.
A7R3, 70-300 G @ 300mm, Godox fill flash, heavily cropped.
Regardless of camera, I get a good deal of the reach form the camera's pixel count. Long lenses are heavy, unwieldly, and expensive. Not partial to any of that.

Another great Cardinal shot Joe. I tend to agree about the long lenses. The longest I have is 300mm, and that will get most subjects without severe cropping. Have fun with your new Sony. I also have a new camera (D500), and I am excited to see if it will compete.

It will more than compete. I almost regretted selling mine...not.
