There was a recent post, don't remember by whom, about getting statement "No photos found" when the OP tried to Import using Lightroom. At the time I didn't comment because I was on my iPad or cell phone. Today, Importing photos with LR, I got the same statement. The simple solution for me was to click on "Cancel" in the lower right hand corner and then go back and click on "Import" in the Left hand panel. Everything worked fine. This is a repeatable problem following a recent update to Windows 10. (May have been caused by Windows or may be a bug in LR CC Classic. Whatever, no big problem.

Just curious, were you importing from your camera or a card reader?

I always import from the card reader. This happened when I was importing my SD cards. Got to check on my CF cards. All shots were in raw.

I've had the same problem lately. It's probably a combination of 2 updates. LR update 7.3.1 and Windows 10 update. This is a LR problem. With all the varieties of computers and configurations I'm surprise anything works at all.

I've also notice that if you use import it works fine. Take the SD card out shot more photos reinsert SD to import and the most resent photo aren't there.

In LR import/source on the left side the first option should be the SD card. If it say's "No Photos Found" Look down at the files, the SD card should be listed amongst other folders or drives. This usually fixes both issues (on my computer).
