This is my last photo of the Nubble. This taken at night. For the record, I did NOT light paint the buildings. The light on the building comes from the town of York which is about a half mile away.
Thanks for looking, please view in the download.
That is a STUNNING photo!

Are you sure that isn't your favorite Maine lighthouse, Larry? Because this shot is really "kickin."

Just a question, why so much non detail foreground and very little detailed night sky?
I am familiar with the Nubble Light, also called Cape Neddik Light. My photography has been during daytime hours, never at night.
This is an outstanding shot.
Nice, Larry. The download is beautiful--the thumbnail is nice, too; but it doesn’t do the photo justice at all.
Thank you jederick. I really like shooting at that hour of the day.

This is a perfect example of why to allow download. Nice shot to look at, on download "stunning!" Thanks Larry.

Thanks so much for taking the time to look at the download. :-)
You cannot get the detail in a reduced size image. The download features the original image. These modern DSLR camera are able to capture so much detail that when seen as photographed they are just amazing. That is why I always encourage folks to use the download.
For the record I reduce the size of my image for posting here on the HOG. My real originals carry even more detail. You should see them as large prints, they will blow you away. A 40x60 looks like you are standing there. Frame it, put museum glass on it and display it in the right light---just amazing. People will just stand and gawk.

Thanks so much for the compliment.
Thanks. This sure beats anything we have in Florida.

Very nice for a different perspective. I have done several photo shoots there myself, beautiful light.
Shooting in the golden hour or the blue hour, you just can't beat the results.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

Excellent shot...well done.
The setting is really amazing. It would behard to get a "bad" shot at this location.
