Hey everyone -

I get questions just about every day about Back Button AF - from what it is, to how to set it up, to actual usage. So, I decided to put a free 30-page e-book together that covers back Button AF for all the current Nikon cameras.

The guide goes over the basics of why you would want to use BBAF, then gives step-by-step setup instructions for all the current Nikon bodies, then tells you how to use it, and finally goes over FAQs. It's 100% free, so check it out:

What? Now it's free? Actually just kidding, Steve. If you give the same advice on BBAF you did in your "Secrets/AF" book which I refer to often, then "free" is more than a bargain for anyone who wants to learn. In fact, I'd urge anyone who needs/wants in-depth AF advice for their Nikon to get your book.
Thanks for everything you do for UHH.

Thanks, Steve. I set up my BBAF after I read your autofocus ebook. Now I'm hoping that I'm using it correctly. I'll certainly check out your new ebook. Thanks, again.

Just the BBAF part is free :) I was getting so many questions, it was cheaper just to put a short book out then to keep tacking the questions individually. The BBAF book is only 6% of what's in the Nikon AF book. I figure it gives people a nice trial and if they like what they see, they'll get the full book.

Thanks!

BTW - If you already have the Nikon AF book, you don't need this one - you're already more than covered!

Thanks for the great ebook. I can adapt much of it to my Canon. Couldn’t you branch out and write for Canon too? It would be a big seller.

Thank you Steve. I set BBAF a while ago and I like it. I didn't fully understand all of the settings but thanks to you, I now know the particulars.
