I notice he has 6 hash marks. Does that mean over 24 years service. In the Navy you got a hash mark for each hitch of four years, but I don't know about the Army.

Army is 3 years per hash. So Ben has 18+ yrs service. I should add I had the absolute pleasure being one of his flight paramedic trainers. He is sharp, dedicated and a pleasure to be around. Just an all around squared away guy with a fully supportive wife. I believe he will make MSG before heading for the door.
