This is a video of a photographer that photographed the same tree each day for 365 days. Each photograph being different and unique from his previous images. Very interesting project and it just brings home, for me, that great images are all around you, if you just take the time to look. He developed quite a following during this project. Caution, his gear is quite controversial.

I tried to make each image something completely different that previous images. It was a huge amount of fun but it only lasted a few weeks.

And he got all his images with an i-phone. This was a very interesting video. Thanks for posting it.
I have seen a similar photography exercise, where you stand in one spot and take photos of things you see around you.

Very inspiring video, Thanks for posting!! I have seen many similar (shorter term) exercises suggested in photography e-books, etc. Maybe it is time I give one a try. It would force me to open my mind and get creative.
I saw this on the Iowa public TV channel some time ago. Thought it was great.
Very cool! Well worth watching. Thank you for posting it.
