Lovely bird shots, and I don't doubt you could catch some BIFs. Birds are much prettier (well, most are) than gators and crocks.

Very nice set Angela. Very interesting background in the one with the (I think), yellow crowned night heron.

LOL... they are definitely prettier than gators and these birds in Florida are much bigger than I find in my yard!!! Glad you enjoyed these, my friend!! Hope everything is good on your coast?!!

Not exactly certain what a birder is, but if it means having a great love for birds then I'm guilty. 
All lovely shots, Angela, and this place obviously wasn't the one I used to visit years ago. I think the one I saw was in St Augustine and only had stinky gators under a bridge and some little stuffed ones for sale.

Donna, this place was amazing.... and especially the birds, they were fearless and posed perfectly for me!! I consider being a birder, one who sits in a blind and waits for the birds to come to them, that's not me..... if they stay still and I'm there, I will shoot... I do love all animals, including birds and my backyard tweeters!!

Good to hear you are enjoying the rain that you're getting.... I wish I could send you some of ours, it seems like April showers is holding true!! Things are good here, still waiting for the real spring so I can take the boys in the yard and get some fresh air!!
