Hello All:
By way of introduction, for many years I used mechanical camera Konica T3 - Film based. Then took a hiatus for almost 10 years, did nothing in photgraphy. Back now into it now with a Nikkon 700 SLR and am also planning to do Drone photgraphy down the road. Primarily, it became a need in my real estate work. I am using sigma 24 -70mm , 2.8 lens. for most real estate shots. However, I found a need for another wide angle lens for tight spots such as bathrooms/winerooms shoots, compatible with Nikkon 700 as well as some quipment for night photography gear. I have an electronic flash, SUNPAK auto 22 SR Thyristor, but it was used only with Konica T3. Folks tell me NOT TO USE this flash with Nikkon as it may damage the SLR camera?? any comments ??
Does anyone have a wide angle 14 -24 mm , autofocus lens compatible with Nikkon 700 or suggest an alternative for sale, and an electronic flash. I will also be interested in lighting/diffusing accessories to go with flash photography. When it comes to night shots, I am a rookie about what I would need both for real estate and Portrait photography eg diffusers etc??.
Anyone to guide me where to go and get this gear without breaking the bank, and comments on settingup for night photography. Thanks.
CJ

Welcome to the Hog. I've been a Realtor/Appraiser for 45 years, and now retired.
Welcome to the forum.

Aloha csingh00 and welcome to UHH. I would not use your Sunpack with the D700 as you will damage the digital camera. Nikon makes excellent thru-the-lens (TTL) flash units. For real estate night shots (outside shots) you will want to use 4 to 6 flash units tied together with remote units. Since you will be using these for your business they would be tax deductible. For inside shots multiple flash units are very helpful especially when using TTL flash units.
For drone shots you will need to be licensed since you will be doing professional work.
Welcome! I am also a Realtor and Photographer! I am hoping to start doing some real estate photography. I have done 2 homes (one is my own rental home in Phoenix and a freebee for my best friend when his father died in Indiana, PA) I had good luck with a nikon 16mm F2.8 for the tight spots ( I se a Nikon D90) and straighten the walls using Elements software. Let me know how it goes for you.
