Greetings All,
I’m new to this Forum... but not to Photography. I’m a US Navy trained Photographer and a Graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography (1989).
I’ve photographed with Aerial TARPS Pods, Crown Graflex 4x5’s, Medium Format Bronicas and Nikon & Canon 35mm film cameras. I’m also well versed in Digital Full Frame and Crop Sensor Cameras in the Sony, Nikon & Canon lines.
Classically trained in the Zone System of light and exposure, I believe a light meter is a handy tool.. but Full Manual- Raw is what I typically shoot in.
Thankfully my wife has helped me improve my creative shooting style as I’m very well versed in the technical end of photography and creative studio lighting.

Brooks? Did you know Paul Meyer and his brother Don?
..."A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum"...a guy showed up who actually was trained in the subject ;-) I jest of course and I hope you picked up on my movie reference. Welcome to UHH and thank you for your service. My future son in-law is heading out to BUDS in a few weeks and my son is heading to the Coast Guard so I'm a big supporter. I was not formally trained but have been continually learning since the age of 12 - I'm 58 now. I photograph everything from Weddings to Landscape and love variety. You can click my profile and visit my website if you like. I look forward to seeing some of your work.
