Hillary and the popular vote

It's true that Hillary won the popular vote by about 3 million votes. The question is--Do you want the President to be selected by only 3 cities in the country. LA, San Francisco and the city of New York account for the 3 million more votes. I am willing to bet that 350 million people would not.

People want to election to be settled by general agreement, reflecting a consensus of views from across the nation, not by 77,000 uneducated and bitter pig farmers manipulated by Russian spies and agents on facebook and twitter.

See the corruption, dishonesty and incompetence we are left with!

Good one. The electoral college saved us from that potential disaster.

And of course such corruption only exits in one party. And they do NOT want that consensus only in 3 cities

That is the brilliance of the founders in creating the electoral college to give all citizens an equal vote that actually mattered and protected small communities from the corruption of large cities full of garbage.
They were just plain brilliant. Add to that by adding the second amendment. Genius.

This is the most incompetent and dishonest and corrupt cabinet in American History, and I think it’s all Republican. Any democrats on it?

Trump is the most dishonest, incompetent, corrupt, and dangerous President—and a defective human being in addition—and I admit, at times he has been Democrat, then Republican, then for Abortion, then against it—but he consistently and constantly Lies, lies about everything, tells lies that conflict with previous lies he has told, lies he ran on, and positions he championed that now he lies about.

Criticize the Democrats, no one says they are perfect, but no one compares with, or competes with Donald J. Trump, liar in chief, thief in chief, corrupt- and corrupter-in-chief, and founder of the slogan “Treason Is Our Business!”

Well, probably on the last one, certainly it applies.

You made a bad, bad choice.

At that time, rural citizens outnumbered urban citizens 19-1, and the argument you make could be debated. Now 81 percent of US citizens liven in urban cities, and they suffer under a tyranny of ignorant and bitter pig sloppers, loving incompetence, dishonesty, corruption and lies.

Go figure.

You don't think distances and the speed and hardship of travel had anything to do with the electoral College? Telegraph hadn't even been imagined yet.

It is so interesting how libs hate America, the brilliance of the founders and vision they had to write such a profound document that if left as is will be good for thousands of years. Most all the changes to it since the first 10 have been for the worse.

Especially the one giving women the vote. Isn't that what you mean?
