Newcomer to the site

Good morning, I am a newbie photographer, my favorite subjects are birds (mostly seabirds) and flowers. I am anxious to improve my work, and welcome any constructive critiques. I have two Sony camera bodies, an A500 and an A 700. My go-to lens is a Tamron 18-270mm and for stationary use I have a Tamron 600mm lens.

Pretty bird. Welcome to the forum. Like I tell all who say they are new and want to learn; pick up a copy of The Digital Photography Book by Scott Kelby. It's the first book in a series and it is easy to read and learn from. Enjoy your picture taking.

Looking good. I am a long time Sony user myself. Take most of what you read hear with a grain of salt. Most photographers are very picky about the equipment they use and will let you know. Looks like you know your equipment very well and that is 90% of the battle. It's the brain behind the camera that makes the photo, not the equipment. Happy shooting
