I was walking in the woods today & I saw this moth hanging from a twig. He didn't move, so is it possible he just came out of his cocoon (so big)?

No clue what it is, but a nice find. Good catch. The other thing needs to be inspected closer. If you send it to me I will do my best to let you know what it is. :)

It's a Luna Moth, we have them in the spring in Mississippi. I have attached a picture of one I took a couple of years ago.
