Photo published in their monthly newsletter. I was on a trip to the AOJ mission in Gautemala and took this
pic during our visit to the city dump where there were families who made their living by collecting re-sellable scrap.
In addition to building 4 homes and painting some buildings and leading a few plenary sessions for the kids, I managed to get few pics in too.
The dump mission was little heartbreaking.
As usual, short term missions trips are of incremental value to the locals but continued financial
support post-trip to help the local economy create work to raise the level of living so the kids can attend school is what is most needed.
