I’m very much a novice and am not quite sure what underexposed means, but I think these photos are wonderful, especially the first one.

The best fix would be to get prints and frame them.

We are each our harshest judge on our own creations. To me your photos are very artistic in composition.

Nice photos. If you think they are underexposed (and they might be--that’s a matter of personal taste with shots like these), you can change that in post-processing. I wouldn’t go more that a fourth of a stop if it were me.

Thx Charlie’s mom. Underexposed means not exposed to the light enough. They should be a bit lighter.

I am very critical of my work. I just alway want to improve but it seems I’m at a standstill at best or regressing. Thanks for the encouragement.

Look great to me!!!!
If the image were any brighter the whites would be blown out!!
If shot RAW you could reduce the shadows very very little in post.

I think the second one is the best of the two (she is beautiful in both, I just prefer her pose in that one), and I would play a bit with the cropping of that second one. I agree with Manglesphoto, if you shot in RAW, try decreasing the shadows some, but don't overdo, adjust a few different ways.. save the variations, then walk away from the editing for a bit. Come back later, see what you like best. Remember if you print them, you may need to increase the exposure a bit for the prints, as that can be different than what you see on your monitor.
