Many love Pasta as I do! But, Squid may not be so! One of my favorite pasta I love, is wide noodles made with NO-YOLKS! Squid, on the other hand is better than you think! Probably the biggest issue with "Squid" is, it's often cooked too long, too far, will not stop cooking!!!

Squid is tasty indeed! We start with boiling water for your pasta of your choice. We'll not go into this process, again, do not over cook! Al dente, PLERASE!

Now the SQUID! I cut as shown, in rings, and added Testicles to coconut oil with a strong tab of butter, seasoned with: oregano, sweet basil, Italian season, dill, a sprinkle of thyme, and red pepper flakes, on high for 3 to 4 minutes, NOT LONGER . . . !

Pasta was mixed with my pre-made Marinara Sauce and added to Squid with Testicals, (look closely) too pasta, then plated! SIMPLE and TASTY!

It's lent! CIAO, AP

Well, I don't care for squid or pasta but it's a nice image. I'm glad you didn't photograph the testicles, though.

A simple dish is calamari (squid ) stir fried with penne pasta, olive oil, choice of chopped olives (green or clamata) zucchini chunks. As noted above, do not overcook the calamari. ( I add the calamari just before the zucchini is ready. ) Pair with a nice white wine....very enjoyable.

Had Squid steam cooked in grape leaves at a Greek restaurant. Down on the ship channel in Houston, where all foriegn restaurants are. With a bottle of Ouzo.. tasted delicious

The belly dancer wasn't bad either. As she made it around the tables.

I will comment of the photograph AP it looks delicious, but I'm still laughing! Does squid have a fishy taste?

Calamari (squid) with pasta is one of my favorite dishes, AP. My mother sometimes stuffed the bodies before putting them into the sauce. You did a wonderful job preparing and presenting this classic dish as always. It looks delicious.
