WOW! These are great photos. Tack Sharp! I'm curious as to what lens and the distance you were from the bird. I have many of these guys in my yard also. The seem to like whole peanuts in the shell as do the Blue Jays. I also smear peanut butter on a branch and many of the birds like that also.

Thanks for asking. The distance is about 25 feet from the bird....D500 and Nikon 200-500 @ 500mm. Images are cropped to remove extraneous info.
