A judge tossed out the Texas law requirements to have ANY Id as a requirement to register to vote. So it turn out that all a person needs to do is sign the citizen box on the registration form. NO OTHER requirement is needed. In other words non citizens will be voting in the Texas elections and there is no way to stop them. No drivers licence, no military Id, no pass port NOTHING.

Seems I read that quite a while back, so it's not exactly news. The Texas ID laws were rather onerous.

Doesn't matter if it was last week or last year. The facts are that no proof of any kind is needed to register to vote. And that is a serious problem as it could leade to non citizens determining who geyts elected. And that by the way is exactly what tghe democratic party wants. Take the very close election in Pa. where 500 votes separate the candidates. If i/2 of 1 percent of the voters are illegal hispanic voters. As hispanics vote democratric in large measure, remove those small number of voters and the winner would not be the current winner. Thats why the Texas situation is so serious. I need Id to get health care. To rent a car, to buy booze, to fly. But not to vote? some thing is very wrong.

Can you explain why you never cite your sources? That way we're on the same page, it's a courtesy and helps with your credibility.

There you go, it took all of 7 seconds to find this, but I know how busy you are.

Sources were cited last time.

You ignored them.

Can you explain why you did that?

Whats that?

You're a hyper partisan tool?

But ... I already knew that.

When was the last time? You have me at a disadvantage.

"You're a hyper partisan tool?" Loopy Rebrander. You actually typed that with a straight face didn't you.

I just donated a day to provide tech support for the Dem and Rep primaries on March 6, 2018.

Voter ID laws were definitely tightly enforced.

And Boberic just posted a thread a few days ago about how anyone can register to vote in Texas and had the truth explained to him by a couple of people including me.

This is just silly hysteria.

Turning in a signed voter registration card does not register a person to vote. Eligibilty is verified by the state before an applicant is put on the rolls.

Filling out the card and swearing you are a citizen only means that you have filled out a card and turned it in. If you sign the card and attest to your citizenship and are not a citizen, you are subject to prosecution for perjury.

To think that the political machine in Texas is trying to make it easy for liberal non-citizens to get on the voter rolls is so absurd that it is beyond laughable. Greg Abbot, Dan Patrick and all the other cons holding state-wide office would take offense to such an idea.

This is a silly thread.

You seriously are beyond stupid. There is clearly a huge element of either dishonesty or memory failure contained within your apparent "stupidity", because you already started an almost identical thread several days ago making the same identical bullshit assertions that nobody in Texas verifies someone's citizenship and eligibility to vote, pretending that there is no such thing as a Registrar of Voters Office. Multiple people educated you last time about the existence and function of the Registrar of Voters Office, and yet here you are again today, pretending that those people and that process they use to validate voter registrations doesn't exist, and that we never had that discussion several days ago. So...is it memory failure...or something else? Something is obviously wrong upstairs. You might want to get that checked.

Complete bullshit, Keenan. I moved to NY from NC and had to register to vote. I went to the office and got the form. No one asked me for an ID. I filled out the form and waited in line to hand it in. When I got to the front of the line with my form, I gave it to the guy and waited. He said "What" do you have a question? And I said yes..how do you know that I am the person filling out this application? And he said...it doesn't matter. we aren't allowed to ask that question.

So, I could have registered in multiple cities here in NY. I could have gone to the next county and registered as Suzie Que with a fake address. NO ONE WANTED PROOF OF MY ADDRESS HERE. IT's the same in California and 17 other states!!!!! How can we even think that voting here is equal? It's a farce.

The last thread I created was on February 17. You are so full of shit it's embarrassing.

Try to keep up.

I always assume when no link is provided the poster knows the source is dodgy and hopes someone else will dig up a more credible source. The topic was new Texas voter registration regulations. The judge found the Texas law violated the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Nice try.

You silly old Bull Fruit. I was going to point out Trump just let the sixth largest economy slip through his fingers without even getting a bid from China but you've blocked me. Never mind, you're still free to post on my threads Butch.
