A Canon G7X Mk II. I can put it my back pocket, and still print at 13X19 without taking all my DSLR gear. Of course, it's not nearly as good in low light, but it does a really good job otherwise.

considering the high crime rate in Mexico, you were better off having a smaller, and cheaper looking camera, than a fancy DSLR with all the trimmings.

True, but we go directly from the airport to the resort and don't leave there until it's time to return to the airport. I took the same camera to Florida and got some great pictures, including a number I otherwise wouldn't have gotten because I wouldn't have had my camera with me.
