Forget the skies - I have to photograph Tennis at 5:00 and soccer at 8:00 by the time I get home 10:30 or later I will be tuckered out. But just in case I have some "lead in my pencil" ...all I have to do it connect to power. I maged with the one on the right last night. Worked really well. The weather forecast is cloudy tomorrow and raining Sat and Sun....clearing Mon and perhaps I will have a few days next week to see "whats' up."

I drank a cup of coffee in the evening 2 nights ago.
Then lay there wake half the night...
And the skies had closed for the evening.

WOO-HOO! Already did a bit of testing!
Super Dooper!
So, do you plan on pulling the telescopes in? Or just covering in place?
I always bring mine in from the Vixen bar up. But have my wiring harnessed so it unplugs and stays under the covers.
(A repurposed waterproof canvas BBQ bag, and my 32 gallon dome.)

I bet you are excited! Got a first target in mind to 'suck the light outta'?

Unless a hurricane or weeks of expected bad - very bad weather....I plan to leave up. The Gizmos are excellent at keeping your kit dry in really rainy weather - mine have been tested over the past year.

Great! Remove covers, start imaging.
Probably take longer to boot the computer than to begin imaging.
Have a great time, and Clear Skies!

The equipment is ready... Now all you need is a few great days of "sky"!

Yesserie - rain tonight and all day tomorrow - but I think we may have 3 plus clearer nights mid week. Fingers crossed. I still have to hook up the "RigRunners 4008" for both mounts ...then I will just h have two chords to deal with - usb and power. I get get rid of all the electrical cable crap. I have some engineering hurdles that I have to climb (not my strong suit either) as I plan to changing OTA's and I want both the RigRunners and USB hubs to be independent of the OTA's so it's just plug and play. At least I have gotten this far. The RigRunners have been in a closet for two years waiting for me to address the power chord cable management issue. So Mote It Be!
