If you ever get a chance to visit the restored ghost town of Nevada City, Montana, then do it. If you like the old west, this town is a treasure of photographic opportunities. It closes after labor day, but you can still walk around the area and shoot some images. In this image of the barber shop and saddlery, I've done some PP using PS and Nik. One of my favorite filters in Nik is the Glamour Glow filter. It has several modes of softening and can really do wonders for an image. Take a look at this image and let me know what you think.
Beautifully rendered. Nice job.
I think it should be made into a print. Wonderful shot.
Sorry, I can't put my finger on it, something disturbs me.

Let me know when you can put your finger on it.
I keep looking, perhaps too much gold in the wood tones.

Kinda what I thought when I first looked at it also. But the color grew on me.

I look at the golden wood as sun bleached. Some of the wood is a golden color, some is tan and some is brown. In this scene the building is facing the afternoon sun. I suppose the colors could be altered to suit individual taste. I like the image the way it is, but you may take the image and play with it if you want.

Yes, it turned out well. I do like the weathering on the wood.
