"BUT" Shuster was given the gold.
Koe and Edin - do not miss the shots that they did. If you see the still pictures of Koe after he misses a shot, he is pissed off, if
you follow this game, every weekend like I do (and have played very serious for over 20 years) these guys and gals are very skilled and competitive, they want to win! They don't miss the easy shots and they most certainly don't set them up, Edin in the 8th, set up the easy 5
You will see that maybe one weekend, one of the best has a shitty weekend, not two, too much of a coincident.
This was fixed, my opinion. And if you have never played the game, Please don't comment.
These guys don't miss- especially for a 5 in the 9th.
John Shuster will come home a hero, 95% of the populace will have no idea who he is,never mind WHAT curling is, but you will cheer him on.

Did you see the article that when presented the medals there was goof, all but one of them got the "women's" medals. Someone was red faced before they swapped for the right medals.

Sorry (another Canadian) but I disagree, it was not fixed, the big guns made bad shots, it happens. Who knows why, expectations too great, nerves, not enough beer before the game, whatever. If the games were fixed the medal counts would look far different than they are.
Congrats to all those athletes that managed a podium finish and for the most part exhibited great sportsmanship. Enjoyable to watch for this couch potato.

Keep in mind that just being good enough to go to the Olympics means you are better than about 7 Billion people at whatever sport you are competing in. Even if you finish dead last at the Olympics, you are still better than over 7 Billion other people.

Ahh yes and the result might still have been the same, but I have never accepted that a game ends with a shoot out, it should be overtime and overtime period until there is a winner. But congrats to the US women, they played like ... Champions!!!
