I have a Nikon 750 and I remember a setting in the menu for DX and FX lens I cannot find it now. The scary part is was there ever a setting for that on the menu ? Clarity would be much appreciated.
Thank you as always
Joe
Perhaps the manual could clarify.

Wish I could help you, but I don't remember what the question was! Don't worry though. From here on out your memory will just get worse until you get to the point where you can't remember what you forgot. Then, all will be good! Used to be I couldn't remember what I had for breakfast. Now, I don't remember if I even had breakfast.
To automatically select a DX crop when a DX lens is attached, select ON for IMAGE AREA > AUTO DX CROP in the shooting menus (pg 310, 318 D750 manual).
And there I was dipping into this Forum starting to feel good about myself! 😊
Seriously, this loss of memory as one ages, I’m 73, is most annoying! We have been living here in Merlin for over 5 years and probably go into Grants Pass some 12 miles from home 3 or 4 times a week. Yet I still ask Jeannie to remind me where so-and-so store is!
Sorry, what was the question again?
I'm 82 and would not go back in time. I love every day and thank God for my blessings. Today is a present. Did I forget anything? If I did ask my wife she know everything; or so she says!
Thank you all for your comments my issue is resolved I thank you for your humor as I know I'm not alone. I have been living in NC for 22 years and there are days I have to call my wife to find my way home. She bought me Echo for Christmas as a helper I forget it is in the house
Have a great Weekend
Joe

Move her to Florida, give her a car, and she will soon be doing 95 on the Interstates!
I am going to be boringly serious for a couple of minutes.
For my darling wife was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD) 30 months ago and the tremors in her right hand are getting in the way of Jeannie using a computer mouse. So did some research online and, wow, the number of electronic and technology aids for not only PD sufferers but for many of the challenges us senior folk experience blew me away!
Go check it out if this might apply to you or a loved one.

Well, I am not 82 and it's my husband that knows everything . . . and it annoys me greatly when he has no answer for me. :)

If he gave you the answers then you would be as smart as him. Now that wouldn't be fair.
