After peeking around, I can assure you that I am way, way, way out of my league here. That being said, I do believe that the only way one can improve is to surround him/herself with those who are better than they are.
I bought my first 'new to me' DSL camera about a year ago when my son was getting ready to graduate boot camp. (I wanted to take pictures that weren't off my phone!) Photography has always been something I've wanted to learn to do so when I found an old Nikon d60 at a pawn shop for a what I thought was a reasonable price and the camera bug in me went wild! About six months after that I found a d32 at a pawn shop in almost new condition. I am from the era of 35 mm film and dark rooms, so learning digital photography has been both exciting and a little daunting. I'm excited to be here and can't wait to glean from you guys!!!

When you say you found a D32, I think you probably mean a D3200.
Photography is a fun hobby, enjoy. There are many helpful people here, don't be afraid to ask questions.
