Yeah, but these are wolves in sheep's clothing, now - aren't they, Mike?

You really think they all went to the same dentist, to have their teeth cleaned, do you, Mike? ....

Isn't it possible they all got caught on the same barbed wire fence?

Chris,
About the barbed wire, no. The only strings of barbed wire are at the top of the fence, along there enclosure.
As athletic as the wolf is they can not physically reah the wire.
From the behind the scenes tours I have attended at the zoo, yes the animals receive a yearly once over so to say. Some even have daily inspections by their keepers.

I apprecite the comments.
Anid I agree with your second comment, about the smug look, My shooting buddy and I started calling him smiley.
Regards,
Mike

Great shots Homer60, that must be some wildlife park or zoo judging by their habitat. The shaved spot on their legs were most likely so they could receive an intravenous anesthesia if they were having their teeth checked and cleaned.

Good shots. There a very few hints that they are in captivity.

Oh, I see ... so this is a reservation, then ... I guess I missed that, before ... yes, then, it would make sense for them to have inspections, and to be marked ....

It's an extraordinary set, Mike ... thanks, again, for sharing ... Smiley, and all ....

Great pictures. Notice that all them are smiling while looking at you. Wonder if they are sizing you up for dinner. Thanks for sharing.

TJ,
I was just looking for information on the enclosure for the wolfs at the Zoo, little over 2 acres.
What I came across was this article; http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-met-mexican-wolves-artificial-insemination-20180206-story.html

Kind of interesting.
Thank you for the kind comments.
Mike.
