Yup. It is the biggest sports festival, worldwide every four years. So the big boys are going to be prepared to keep their users ready. Should result in some tremendous images of the events.

I didn’t realize that Canon and Nikon would even be there?!?!
Two years ago, of course it’s all you saw in Rio, I know, I was there!! But if I were to believe a few mirrorless pundits here, I would have thought all the Pros had switched by now!!!

Corporate promotional budgets for this event are astronomical. There is no amount of advertising $$$ Nikon or Canon are not going to spend to be THE camera that captures the iconic image.

All you need is a big marketing budget, a loud voice, small hands and a twitter account. Oops did I miss something? I didn't realize that North Korea made any significant cameras!

And to be PC - "Photographically Correct" they shouldn't be all white. What would you do if you dropped one in the snow? What happens to fluorite at sub zero temperatures anyway? Heaven forfend if you get your Nikkors in a twist or your hook comes undone and your top falls off while attempting a triple axel? Maybe we need a Pent Axel?

So after the Olympics, whats the chance these get sold as used? And if so how do you find out where? I also think I see why waiting time for a D850 is so long.
