Ceramic Bird Composite

This is a Ceramic bird we have that I decided to make into a composite. The background was downloaded off of Pexels. Also added a layer of rain. I originally had the wing cut off but then thought it would have more impact having it come out of the picture. It was still being cut off with the first canvas size adjustment and didn't want to make the white border any larger. Didn't want to move the bird because it was covering another bird on the base picture and I liked the positioning of the beak and branch here. I wanted to display it here with the full wing and tried a .png file but the site didn't do what I wanted it to so I found the yellow color and used it for additional border. When you go to Download you can see what I did. So what do you think?

It's an Jim. The out of bounds works well. The rain is different, a good creative thinking exercise. I'm nit-picking now. The branch is sharper than the bird. The bird is too soft. A photo stack of the bird would cure that.

Agree the bird does look out of focus/soft. The problem is the colors and edges are soft on the real image. Just went over and looked at it again and I am not sure how it was made. I think the way to fix the problem is to add blur to the branch or all the base picture less the rain. I think I will give that a try. Then the bird should look more in focus.

Just gave the background a 6 pt radial blur and it helped. Thanks for looking Shakey. Appreciate your opinion.

Thanks for your explanation, Jim, that should look good.
