Looks like a little too much money and not enough common sense. Perhaps a dash of ego thrown in for good measure. Unfortunately, no known cure except, perhaps, running out of cash.

I ran into this pro guy at a small vanue in Salem Oregon. I think I remember 4 setups around his neck. Not stupid and not wealthy. Just another working pro.

This guy has a bit of a stoop shouldered look, emphasizing the "working" part of the term working pro.

Can you imagine what a trip to the restroom would be like, by the time he removed all of the cameras and lens. If he used all the bodies and lens by shooting with a couple and triggering the remainder, Pocket Wizard must consider him a platinum customer. A clue is you look in the right hand side of the photo might be the leader board in the back ground, had to be a sports shooter

Regarding the trip to the restroom, is is possible that one of those larger rigs is a solution in disguise? He steps behind a tree, opens the back of the camera, clicks the leak proof shutter on the "time" setting, does his thing, closes the shutter and walks away. Perhaps he's walking alone because one of his rigs sloshes. Of course, he has a lab assistant to empty it and wash it out.

I don't think so. I think the guy was working hard. Bought all the tools to do his job. That's all. I seriously don't this is a case of a guy with too much money just buy expensive equipment to show off. I know those and they have different equipment.

Definitely a pro. Looks like he's shooting a golf event. Nonetheless it looks more ridiculous than professional to the average onlooker. Not to mention the risk of a trip and fall from as minor an impediment as a divot, possibly resulting in the loss of tens of thousands of dollars of investment. When those bodies and lenses start banging into each other, it will be an ugly scene. >Alan
