Looks back breaking for sure but at least he doesn't have to change lenses! Actually it's not GAS if he is acquiring all that equipment for his profession (i.e., tax deductions). GAS refers more to someone who acquires equipment just for the hell of it - a hobby at best.

I was at Yellowstone National Park when I saw a "photographer fording a stream. He wore special clothes designed, with pockets.to cover every contingency form photographic needs to atomic attack.Close behind him was a photography store with two legs and breasts bearing his equipment. I on the other hand take my photos exclusively with a Browny Hawkeye. B.H. just joking.
Reminds me of a shot someone took of me years ago that still gives us a chuckle.
We were on safari in Kena. Afterwards, I was getting ready to walk back to my room to drop off my modest equipment. Several people in the vehicle asked me to take their stuff back too. Before I knew it, I was loaded down like this guy.
I had the good sense to have someone take a memorable shot of me.
