TRICK 1. The trick is to use the TV image as a background for a real item. You can take your photo graph any where in the world or beyond while never leaving your living room.
In one week the camera club "assigned" is historic object, place etc. I was luck and purchased a Johnny Walker Statue of Scotch whisky fame. The statue "Walking Man" introduced in 1920 tho some may have existed before that date... 1820 was the Walking Man label.
I wanted a background that was connected to Johnny's birthplace, England. Johnny himself, without base is 15" high where do I get a map of England of the correct size? The net has maps and my computer can feed my 50" TV. So I placed Johnny in front of the TV and where necessary put a photo of the on screen map next to the Johnny map and cloned between the two to fill in some names of cities.
The combination photo was then treated with Topaz deNoise, Detail, and then Clarity for color enhancement.
TRICK 2. Some of the items on the combo Johnny/map combo were missing on the final. To correct the missing city names the Map from the net, the second photo, was used for cloning... but it required going to Edit** Program's Image Menu and increasing the size of the net captured map image. Several tries were needed such that the red dots on both Johnny and Map images were the same size with the clone tool. About 2.5 size increase of the map image brought the two into correct/equal cloning size.
Eyedropper and bucket fill were used to equal all the ocean and England colors. Lots of cloning in some of the smaller areas to give uniformity. My Walking Man for a dollar was a very lucky find at a flea market. Some are very expensive.... mine $100 - $400
** Edit program is PSPro 2018, Camera Sony DSL A65, with Sigma Zoom 28-80 with Macro [switch on normal not macro].

Very cleverly done. I like that you have used a coloured map which enhances old Johnny. Long live old Johnny Walker.
There isn't much more you can enhance with a figurine that has been around for who knows how long.
Thanks for the information on how you achieved the finished results.

Using a map of Scotland would be better. Most Scotsmen would not be happy with a map of England.

Now that is a thought. Perhaps Donald will change it.

Can you find a map just of Scotland? You can mark some of the famous distilleries on it.
