Try to match.

Camera Raw and a few tweaks with PS layers. I give up, the hardest part is getting it to match after uploading the file. What looks perfect in PS, changes once it gets here.

I do not see what you are complaining about.

Actually your version is better than mine.

What you did right:
- Respect the sky
- Orange stays orange, mine is too dark
- Color shift - none
- Sky/sea delimitation, smooth, bot boxy as mine

What is lacking
- Detail in the water. which is not important considering the above.

I corrected mine using a mask and opacity of a layer...

What do you think? You are the mentor now...

Considering that the horizon is completely flat, and the sky is almost opaque, not bad.

LOL, I made the I give up statement after 4 tries of downloading the file and then looking at it here. What you actually see is after another 6 or so tries!!! I do like the saturation and color of the water better in my attempt compared with your second one. I never did make the horizon straight because you said to match yours but that normally would be the first thing I would do. Interesting challenge, I think it is much harder to try and match a result than to PP a photo to one's liking.

I don't think so, I downloaded your photo above and opened it in photoshop. I did all by Camera Raw and PS layer adjustments and then I exported as an sRBG file by checking that box in the export screen. I think the problem I was having was before I uploaded it here, I was switching back and forth on my screen to match the two photos. Once I got it on UHH, I could look at both next to each other. I guess it would have been easy enough to minimize the two screens (PS and UHH) and compare them but I never said anything about the amount of grey matter that was functioning yesterday morning before I had my full load of caffeine.
