Rear Button Focus - Nikon Film Bodies

Most Nikon DSLRs can decouple the focus from the shutter button and work only with the AF on button. Are there any Nikon film SLR bodies that can use this functionality? My N90s will not work this way. I appreciate your input.

I thought the title said.... "Rear bottom focus - naked firm bodies". I better go back to bed and get more sleep.

The F5 you can do that and use the AE-L/AF-L button but you have to set it up in custom settings. I believe the F6 which is newer would do the same.

The AF-on buttons on the F5 start autofocus operation. Check the instruction manual, pages 10 and 11.

I have a F5 film body and use BBF. THere is an AF-on button exactly like the one on my D810.
