Just downloaded Topaz Studio. The basic version of this PP is free. So far it looks like a pretty inclusive program and easy to use. Does anyone have any experience with this PP program.

It's a free post processing program. Gimp. Faststone and Picasa are others. I just googled Topaz Studio and downloaded it

Studio is a good program with a few freebies, but when you already have some of their products, it is redundant. You can open your raw and continue but cannot use other software like NIK. When you buy new softwares, they onley work in Studio and not in stand alone.

It is a very useful set of tools the clean 3 chrisp engine works quite well at at taking small pixelated photos from cellphones and smoothing out the pixels making them more like a painting to be enlarged later in other programs like perfect resize . Clean 3 curly smooth is great for trees and floral and fauna. The noise engines work quite well also. If you like this set of programs give Redfields Fractallious a try . I have never tried these outside of Adobe's products of cs2-6 series or Photoshop elements .

Thanks. I'l fiddle around with it for a week or 2 or 3. If it's better than Gimp or Faststone Il keep it, if not i'll delete it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Different approach. Studio is not a cataloging/thumbnail program like Faststone, but it closer to Gimp in becoming a Photoshop replacement. It integrates several of the more popular Topaz Plugins and filters, and provides a platform to work with all of the filter releases.

Studio can work within Lightroom and Photoshop, does layering like PS and exposure adjustments like LR.

I've used Topaz for a few years. I love it. I use it mostly for turning photos to "art", but Clarity, Denoise, and Remask do what i need them to do easier and faster than LR or PS. Having said that, putting my photographic skills in golfing terms, I'm a bogey photographer.

I downloaded Topaz Textures last week for the free 30 days' trial, and a couple of days later decided to check out Studio. Agree it is redundant in some cases if you have other sofware (I use Nik and PS Elements, though ver. 2018 and Nik don't always speak nicely to each other. I also have used Topaz Simplify and Detail for years), but did notice some fun pre-sets and will compare some of other edit tools against PS Elements. Keep this topic on "watch" and maybe we can talk further as we explore Studio.

I have the complete Topaz suite I use it with LR ans PS and found Studio to be weak. I also have ON1 Photo Raw and would say it is well worth the free trial

I downloaded Topaz Studio, and being an advanced amateur I'm thoroughly delighted with the program. The presets are great, getting me where I basically want to be with my image, then I tweak in adjustments. Probably not for pros, or people who think they are as they will most certainly use Adobe CC, but for old duffers like me I think it's very good for what I do.

I absolutely love Topaz studio. See my post "Matterhorn Perspectives" - all were processed with Studio. You can do a lot with the bare bones program as well as use the presets created by the "community". I did have Clarity and Detail which automatically migrated to Studio and are a little pricey but worth it. An inexpensive alternative for landscapes is Dehaze. You can try all of the Pro adjustments free for 30 days.
