This may not be the best eagle photo out there, but it was my first eagle shot and I like it

If you check my topics you will find that I like to photograph eagles. I am telling you that you're first try was very good.
Very good indeed. If you have a nest nearby, they will become habit forming.
Thank You. Where in Florida are you. I am in The Villages.
Nicely done. Maybe a bit over-sharpened (no feather detail in the head) but better than most eagle images I have seen here. Good job.
Not bad but you can only expect just so much from your equipment. Overall, the photo is soft and the legs are just plain fuzzy. A higher shutter speed might help, getting closer if possible, would definitely help. Getting closer is always better than getting a longer lens. Is this a captive bird or was this taken in the wild?
Nice shots, practice makes perfect.
Not my first, but the first from under 50 yards. The adults were bashful, but not the fledglings.
Very good! It is always great to get that first one! Your heart always skips a beat! I love photographing birds and when the opportunity presents itself it is nice to get the shot no matter what. Better to have a "not the best shot" than no shot at all! :-) the "perfect shot" will come. Keep up the good work and enjoy!
