Thank you, Sylvia. I am fond of cyclamens, too. They make me think of France. At Epcot there is a beautiful movie in the French pavilion. In the movie there are scenes from a market and ladies unloading a cart of cyclamen plants in different colors. I love the movie and that particular scene is one of my favorites!

Thank you, Angela. I've experimented with the more mundane things at Lowes, too! Sometimes we get desperate.

In France the flower stalls and markets have gorgeous flowers and in season they have an assortment of different colours and sizes of beautiful Cyclamen plants. Stunning to see.

👍 The Epcot movie is very well done and shows incredible scenes from all over France. For those of us not likely to go there, it is the next best thing!

We like Epcot very much for exactly that, when you see the different movies it makes you want to travel around the world. One of my places at the top of my list is the Canadian Rockies.

your local Lowes, Home Depot or other garden center. Most are very tolerant of photographers. You really can't use a tripod and you have to take the setting as is but working your subject will usually minimize distractions. Here are a few shots from a bad weather visit to Lowes.

Beautiful set Carol. That thought never entered my mind. Good idea.

These are a gorgeous set of flowers. I too have taken a lot of neat photos of plants and flowers from Walmart garden center and Lowe's. I have not had any body come up to me to say no photographing.

Carol, I totally agree with you even if I have not done it myself. They usually also have birds in the rafters. I need to go to Lowes for some other items so I will take my Canon with me.

That's a great idea-and a great series, too. Thanks for sharing both.

Beautiful photos, and you are so right Carol. I have gotten many great flora photos at Lowes garden section. The lighting is about perfect because it's a diffused sunlight.
