Without a doubt the Sigma 50mm F1.4 ART lens.
If I owned one, I think it would be my favorite as well. But until then, it is my Canon 50 1.4.

OK. And the one on your camera would be ........?
I like my Nikon 35mm 1.8 on my D7000, mainly because it's the only one like it that I have.
It would have to be my 50mm f/1.4 that is on my Nikon F. I've had that camera/lens for 46 years.

Mine is my Minolta AF 50mm f3.5 Macro. I love this lens for copying slides and general photography. It is wicked sharp, no matter the f stop. A close contender is my 50mm Pentax Takumar f1.4 SMC which I use in low light and portrait work.

leica summicron 50mm f2. Nostalgia? Damn straight!
That is also my favorite 50mm lens. I use it with film cameras.

Yes. And my 50mm Leica summilux 1.4.
Nikon 50mm 1.8. Most used lens in my collection. Can't be beat for the money paid.
My presently owned Nikon 50mm f1.8. My first experience was with a 58mm f1.4, attached to my father's SLR camera. The Minolta SRT-101. That manual focus lens was incredibly sharp. It is 3mm larger than your posted requirement. Sorry, I cheated some.

Konica Hexanon F1.7 & Nikon F1.8D. Both offer great price/quality ratio.
At one time that Konica Hexanon 50mm F1.7 was the sharpest lens in the world, it still may be, I almost at one time bought one.

My favorite is the Sigma 50mm f1.4 ART by far. The next in line for me is the Nikon 50mm f1.4D. YMMV.
