How do you bulk delete photos on an iPhone without deleting them on the cloud.

iOS is incredibly anal about synchronization between and device and the iCloud. You would have to go to your iCloud storage and move the images to a new folder.

Try going to Settings, Photos, and turn off iCloud photo library. Delete pictures from your phone, then turn the iCloud Photo Library back on. You might want to xonfirm that with Apple first.

Well said. It used to drive me nuts to find that, after loading 30 or 40 photos from my camera into my iMac, they'd suddenly appear in my iPhone's stored photos. I finally shut off the iCloud sharing so now I have to manually move photos from device to device. Moderately time consuming but at least each device holds only the photos I want it to.

I would like to be the one who decides what goes into the "cloud". In fact, I don't even WANT the damn cloud. I don't like things being out of my control
