These were shot last Sunday when the weather was really nice and was testing out a Minolta AF 28-85mm lens on my Sony a7rII, I freaking love Minolta colors and this old lens produced excellent pictures, being built back in it's day, it's a bit heavy being all metal on a mirror less camera, but I can put up with that.

The Chipping Sparrow was shot with a Sigma 100-400mm APO, ISO 200 @ f/8 shutter 1/200sec.

There is a double download if you wish to look.

Thanks for Looking!!!!!

Johnny

Absolutely stunning shots, Johnny! Love the shot of the dog, and the African Violet is breathtaking! I see why you like the Minolta lens so much.

Thank you much Angela, Lens is not sharp, it just renders colors, contrast and IQ is outstanding, witch just makes it look sharp, I've had this lens for years, first time shot on my Sony a7rII, the new Sony lenses are much sharper but don't have the colors and IQ this lens has. Your Helios is most likely a little sharper lens.

I have posted portraits of Nugget before, I do have newer pictures I suppose I could post.

Thanks again Angela, Appreciate it!!!!!
