Yes, great car! That brings up a question: Just how common are old classic American cars in Australia? Were they originally sold by Chevy, Ford, Dodge, etc. dealerships or were they individually imported as collectables many years later? I live in California, USA near the Los Angeles County Fair Grounds where they have not only two annual NHRA drag race meets per year, but monthly the fair grounds holds classic car sales and shows and so I see American classics and muscle cars from the 1920's to current nearly daily in the area. The dry weather in much of Australia as So. California makes for conditions to preserve old cars. And pretty much every weekend there is a car show somewhere in California.

They are fairly common over here. As an example, my little town only has a population of about 4,000, but we get about 450 classic cars (like this old Chevy) to our annual classic car & rod show. In spite of a world of downsized 4 cylinder cars, Aussies still love their V8s, lol. Earl.
