So, then - for Birds & Wildlife, it's either the 100-400, or the 150-600, is it? ... Or, do you have a better Zoom Option?

And, if it's one of these, do you pick the Canon over the Sigma (100-400) or the Sigma over the Tamron (150-600) ....
Nikkor 200-500 is a superior lens for bird/wildlife.

Yes, I suppose so ... but, NOT ... if you shoot with Canon ...

For wildlife in the wild, and birds, you generally want a lot of reach so I would go for a lens that goes out to 600mm (I havn't used any of the 150-600mm lenses so I can't advise either way).
Have you photographed any wildlife?

Sure I have, Richard ... but the longest I can do on an APS-C - is 400mm - with the Tokina, you already know about ....
OTOH ... with bridges ... I can get out to 1440 on the Nikon Coolpix P-600 ... and to 1200 on about 3 others (Lumix FZ-70, Oly Stylus SP100EE, Fuji HS-50EXR)
Not that it really matters, since they're all 1/2.3" sensor dig cams ....
Tamron for the wild life.
Sorry, I didn't read your post thoroughly.
