Nikon D750 with f/4 24-120 lens for approximately $1,900.

I've been considering purchasing the Sony FE 24-110 f/4 lens for my a7ii for $1,500 but am tempted by Nikon's big discount. Any thoughts?

The end result of the Nikon deal is that with the lens & battery grip being bundled with the camera is the camera only costs $567.00.

Can't comment on the Sony but the D750 and 24-120 f4 combo is a real winner. I have had them for about a year and am impressed with the performance of both. The built in wifi on the D750 gives one a lot of flexibility in remote control/tethering.

I bought the Nikon combo 2 years ago and can't be happier with it. My next camera will be another D750 ( my activations are over 200,000). It goes to many outdoor events including ski races, mtb and canoe events in all weathers. I don't use the lens as much because of other sports lenses I have.

That depends on the percent of each discount (Is the Sony discounted?) and how badly you "need" either lens for either camera. Get one now and the other a few months from now.

Any other regular zooms that would be better than the 24-120 f/4?

The 70-200 f/4 for sports.

Thanks. I already have those specs in a Sony full frame lens. As much fun as I would have learning a Nikon system, I need to stick with my investment in Sony.

Point well taken, but this stuff is too complicated for this amateur. I learn a lot from you guys.

I’ve used both the Nikon 24-120 f/4 and the Sigma 24-105 f/4 on a D750 and D810. Both have an optical stabilization. My Sigma was a little sharper through most apertures and seemed better built, but a little heavier.
