Missing Argentine Submarine

Although is bad for the crew, imagine if this sub was on a mission to attack someone. Despite all the planes and ships searching for it, no trace has been found. Of course, if it has been destroyed, then finding the pieces would be more difficult than finding the entire vessel. The ocean is awfully big, and a sub is awfully small - and loaded with weapons.

Why does Argentina need any submarines?

Maybe they think the Brits have a sub permanently on patrol in the area to prevent a second invasion. I mean that's a joke . . . Right?

I thought that also - and it is what - 30 or 40 years old. They think it may have simply lost power - hopefully crew will survive until found.

Just heard on the news this morning that the sub was designed not to be found.

News claimed it may not matter as they only had enough oxygen for less than 2 days. That was yesterday I believe. Seems amazing we have the technology to navigate these vessels in the deep, but no way to locate or save them?
