Ok, so not quite, or at least not *that* WTC! I was flying my hubsan around at a 9/11 Memorial in a local park, and I got distracted for a second. That was about all it took, plus my fumbling the controls when I tried to save it...

A while ago I saw a video of a drone that crashed into the Seattle Space Needle. A Google search for "drone crashes into the space needle" will bring it up.
