Just discovered this site- as a long term photography buff- coming second only to my knitting- it sounds ideal for someone with my interests!

Hunting for my image of Eilean Donan Castle in Scotland- these have come to light- not the best of compositions- we were taught not to crop- but we had a Practisix Camera with through the lens viewing- how I miss that- and my Roleiflex has gone walk about.
The Castle in Altener, Westphalia- not sure how to crop it, but it is of significance to me both as a knitter and photographer, they make very fine knitting needles here, note part of the steel sculptured tree!
York Minster- I have only a small digital at present, that has very real limitations, but better than no camera at all.

Beautiful pictures (and welcome to the Hog.) Would like to see some of your knitting - perhaps a pull-over with the York Minster worked on the front.

One I will be working soon in Alpaca- have to enlarge the design first- no longer being a sylph!
The Alpaca that my friend dyed for me, for the jacket.
